The Browns are reportedly shopping CB Joe Haden as trade deadline looms
The Cleveland Browns have popped up often among teams possibly looking to move pieces at the trade deadline, but that’s mostly because of All-Pro tackle Joe Thomas. Hue Jackson and the team have repeatedly said they’re not trading Thomas, but another big-name player could be on the block.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, cornerback Joe Haden is being shopped by the Browns and could be moved before Tuesday’s trade deadline.
Haden hasn’t been healthy the past two years, playing just nine games since the start of 2015. He’s working his way back from a concussion, and Sunday’s game against the Jets could be big for his trade value.
If he shows he’s healthy and can be relied upon, teams will likely have more interest in the two-time Pro Bowler. He has two interceptions in four games this season.
Mentioned on #NFLGameDay one big name that's been part of trade talks: #Browns CB Joe Haden. If he shows he's healthy, this could ramp up
