This is JPP's right hand, now without the bandages

Earlier this week, there was a report that New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was likely to miss the entire 2015 regular season. Pierre-Paul responded by posting a workout video to his Instagram account. In that video, you could freeze frame and check out a grainy image of his right hand without the bandages. Now, thanks to the NY Daily News, you can get a clearer look here.

Pierre-Paul was injured in a July 4 fireworks accident that led to an amputation of his right index finger. As you can tell, the rumors that surfaced earlier this week are also true -- he lost a portion of his right thumb in the accident as well.

There is no timetable for Pierre-Paul's return to the playing field, and the Giants have struggled to develop a pass rush without him. In Week 1, the defense racked up zero sacks and struggled to generate any pressure when rushing only their four down defensive linemen.
