Titans hoping Green-Beckham builds on breakout game
Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was able to overcome a costly first-half miscue in Sunday's 42-39 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars to post the best game of his young career.
Green-Beckham caught five passes for a career-high 119 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Marcus Mariota early in the fourth quarter.
Tennessee's 2015 second-round pick, Green-Beckham bounced back from a second quarter dropped pass that was picked off by Jaguars cornerback Davon House, leading to a Jacksonville touchdown.
Sunday marked the first 100-yard performance of Green-Beckham's career and his first touchdown since the Titans' Week 3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
"He’s got the physical gift,” Mariota said, per the Tennessean. “I hope this game gives him all the confidence in the world, because he can do this week-in and week-out. He did a great job at keeping his head. … He was able to keep his cool and was able to make big plays.”
Green-Beckham showcased his height, speed and physicality on the 47-yard scoring play, pulling down the pass and absorbing a hit from Jaguars safety Sergio Brown before racing to the end zone for a diving touchdown.
“I don’t think he realized how big and physical I was and that I wasn’t going to go down on one hit,” Green-Beckham said.

The 22-year old has 21 receptions for 362 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games this season. He's try to build on his strong performance Sunday against the New York Jets.
