Titans QB Mariota leaves game with knee injury
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota has left Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with an apparent injury to his right knee.
Mariota was sacked by Jamie Collins with about 10 minutes left in the second quarter. When the field goal unit came on, the Titans training staff was looking at Mariota's right knee.
Zach Mettenberger came on to replace him.
Mariota missed two games earlier this season with a left knee injury.
The rookie was the No. 2 overall pick in the draft this spring.
The Patriots lost yet another receiver in the game, when Danny Amendola went out in the first half with a knee injury. The team said he would not return. New England was already without Julian Edelman and pass-catching running back Dion Lewis.
