Top 10 NFL highlights from Week 7
We saw some wild action in the NFL during Week 7, and we have the top 10 highlights of the early window for you to enjoy.
10. Kirk Cousins runs for glory
The Washington Redskins may have fallen to the Detroit Lions, but it wasn’t because of Kirk Cousins. The quarterback playing on the franchise tag took off in the fourth quarter and found the end zone on a 19-yard run in the final two minutes.
For the Redskins, the touchdown put them up 17-13 in the last 65 seconds, only to see Matthew Stafford drive the Lions down the field for the winning score.

9. Jeremy Hill breaks it
The Cincinnati Bengals entered Sunday at 2-4 and desperately needed to beat the Cleveland Browns to stay in the AFC playoff hunt. Beat them they did, as the Bengals followed the lead of both Jeremy Hill and A.J. Green (more on him in a bit).
Hill was able to rush for 168 yards on only nine carries, including a 74-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Hill’s jaunt put Cincinnati ahead by a score of 28-17, a lead the Bengals would hold for the balance of the game. Cincinnati is now 3-4 and while the AFC North still goes through the Pittsburgh Steelers, it is back in the mic.
And just like that, @JeremyHill33 has 132 rushing yards on the day.

8. Jarvis Landry lays a controversial blow
The Miami Dolphins physically took it to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, rolling up more than 250 rushing yards en route to a 28-25 win. Miami moved to 3-4 on the season and after consecutive wins, is now back in the AFC playoff picture. Whether or not the Dolphins can stay there is another conversation.
In the victory, there was a controversial play by wide re4ceiver Jarvis Landry. Down near the goal line, Landry came inside on a running play and absolutely lit up Buffalo defensive back Aaron Williams. Many felt the play was unnecessary and dirty, although no penalty was called on the play. We will see if the NFL applies discipline throughout the week.

7. Kenny Stills goes for the bomb
Most did not believe the Dolphins would find away top topple the Bills at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, but they made it happen behind a total team effort. While the offense was busy rushing for 256 yards, the defense was dominating up front, holding the Bills to 67 yards rushing on 3.0 yards per carry.
The final blow was landed by Dolphins receiver Kenny Stills, who was able to snag a Ryan Tannehill heave before making a nifty move. Stills ended up going the distance on a 66-yard touchdown to put the Dolphins up 28-17.

6. Big boy goes for six
The Tennessee Titans may have lost to the Indianapolis Colts, but at least they gave us some high-quality entertainment. The Titans got on the board in the first quarter, when star left tackle Taylor Lewan reported as eligible and after throwing a chip block, released into the flat and caught a Marcus Mariota pass.
From there, Lewan rumbled in open space to cap off his first career NFL touchdown, going in from 10 yards out. The score made the game 7-0 Tennessee in the first quarter, but the defense could not keep the mojo working. Tennessee ultimately lost 34-26 and falls into a tie with the Colts at 3-4, good for third place in the AFC South.
5. Kevin Hogan runs away from the Bengals
There might not be a more emotionally devastating franchise than the Cleveland Browns. They were lovable losers — in way — for years but now that the culture has inexplicably changed to a winning one, the Browns are even more tragic. This season has been that notion in a nutshell, as Cleveland was forced to use their sixth quarterback of the season.
Like his predecessors, Kevin Hogan showed some early flashes before the Browns faded away. Hogan tore off a giant touchdown run to bring Cleveland within a score of the Bengals at the time. It was all downhill from there, but at least Hogan gave Browns fans something to cheer about, if only for a fleeting moment.

4. Tyreek Hill shows off the afterburners
The Kansas City Chiefs aren’t a team that typically goes deep down the field.Everybody knows that Alex Smith is the ultimate game manager, very content to dump the ball down to his running backs and tight ends. But every once in a while, Smith will surprise you.
In the second quarter with a 14-7 lead, Smith decided to load up and take a shot deep down the sideline. The target was Tyreek Hill, the controversial fifth-round pick this spring. Hill, who was drafted mostly because of his 4.3 speed, showed it off and then some on his second touchdown of the season.

3. Huff puffs past Vikings
Many believed that the Eagles-Vikings game was going to be the best matchup of the week. Less than a quarter into the game we all realized just how presumptuous that was, as the parity in the NFL was once again highlighted. There were five turnovers in the first quarter, but eventually the game started to open up for one of the two teams.
The Vikings couldn’t get anything going offensively, and the Eagles used special teams to jump start their offensive production. Josh Huff answered a Blair Walsh field goal by burning the Vikings on a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. It ended up being the moment that sparked the Eagles to take control of the game.

2. Prayer answered
The Bengals seem to be trapped in a cycle of being really good in the regular season but never having any of that magic in the playoffs. We saw more of that on Sunday afternoon, when A.J. Green reminded us of how stupid good he is, despite the struggles of the Bengals.
Near the end of the first half, the Bengals decided to go for it all with a Hail Mary — as you do against a terrible Browns defense. As you’d expect, Cleveland found a way to screw it all up and fall victim to one of the best plays of the week.

1. Landon Collins sets sail in England
Unfortunately, the “best” football that the NFL could put on display for fans in London was a disgusting showdown between the Giants and Rams. As bad as the football was, there were still some moments that stood out as the best of the week. It wasn’t often — trust us — but Landon Collins did his best in attempting to give fans at Wembley something to be in awe of.

His first of what ended up being many forced turnovers by the Rams was one of the most acrobatic interceptions we might see all year. Collins went all out for this pick, and it helped keep the Rams in check from the start.
