Tyreek Hill humiliates Raiders on punt return TD (Video)

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill would not be denied on this 78-yard punt return touchdown to go up big on the Oakland Raiders before halftime.

One could argue that Thursday Night Football between the Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14 was the biggest game of the NFL season up to this point. The winner of this AFC West rivalry game would likely go on to be the winner of the AFC West and get a first-round bye in the AFC Playoffs.

Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith was playing well in the first half, but wide receiver Tyreek Hill had the play that got everyone out of Arrowhead Stadium out of their seats. Here is Hill taking Marquette King’s punt to the house on a 78-yard touchdown return.

Hill saw a running lane immediately after fielding the punt. He exploded up the middle of the field and hit full speed almost instantaneously. Hill was not going to be denied on this special teams play.

His touchdown would put the Chiefs up 21-3 after the made Cairo Santos PAT halfway through the second quarter of Thursday Night Football. Kansas City is one of two teams this season to have defeated the Raiders. Oakland has had a marvelous turnaround season in 2016, but cannot seem to play competitively against their arch rival in Kansas City.

A win for the Chiefs would give Kansas City the season sweep up the Raiders and put them atop the AFC West at 10-3. The winner of the AFC West will likely join the projected AFC East winner New England Patriots as the two teams in the AFC with first round byes. 9-7 to 10-6 will win the AFC North. 8-8 to 9-7 will win the AFC South.
