Tyrod Taylor and Marquise Goodwin Hook Up For Long TD (Video)
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Marquise Goodwin doesn’t always get targeted, but when he does, it goes for six.
Back in a Week 2 shootout with the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Marquise Goodwin reminded us why he’s one of the fastest players in the NFL. He took old man Darrelle Revis back to school on a long touchdown, and you can “blame” him for the increase in “Revis is washed” takes.
Goodwin had a touchdown in Week 5 against the Los Angeles Rams, but he didn’t have a trademark long touchdown reception—until Week 7.
Against another AFC East rival, the Miami Dolphins, Goodwin took it to the house on a 67-yard pass from Tyrod Taylor.

Taylor stepped back, recognized the coverage, and delivered a perfect strike in between the cornerback and the safety. Neither of them had a chance to stop Goodwin, and a lot of the credit for this touchdown goes to Taylor for recognizing the opportunity and pouncing on it by not making a mess of the throw.
With 176 yards on 11-of-16 passing, Taylor had been strong to that point, and this touchdown gave his Bills a 17-14 lead over a 2-4 Dolphins team. Buffalo is starting to hit its stride.
The Dolphins best chance at a win lies in Jay Ajayi’s legs. After a career day against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ajayi proved that he didn’t just benefit from a hobbled defense that didn’t bother to show up.
As for the Bills, they’ve had trouble running the football. And with LeSean McCoy succumbing to his injury and eventually being ruled out, Goodwin was the main source of offense on Sunday, leading the charge with 93 receiving yards, largely thanks to his long touchdown catch.
