Vikings' injury list mounts as John Sullivan suffers spasm
The Minnesota Vikings started the week on a sour note, as starting right tackle Phil Loadholt was placed on injured reserve with a torn Achilles tendon. Things only got worse when news of defensive tackle Shemar Stephen's arthroscopic knee surgery and offensive tackle Carter Bykowski's shoulder surgery broke.
The Vikings' injury list just keeps growing, as starting center John Sullivan missed practice with a spasm.
"He had a spasm. He’ll be alright," Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said about Sullivan, per Tim Yotter of Scout.com. Zimmer did not specify the part of the body in which the spasm occurred.
In addition to these injuries/surgeries, tight end MyCole Pruitt (ankle) and safety Antone Exum (hamstring) were also sidelined during Wednesday's practice, according to Scout.com. Cornerback Josh Robinson remains on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list with a pectoral injury.
