Vikings RB Adrian Peterson sustains ankle injury, returns in second half

It appears the Minnesota Vikings have avoided disaster.
Adrian Peterson limped off the field after sustaing an ankle injury of the first half of Sunday's game against the Bears. The Vikings announced during halftime that Peterson's return was probable.
Peterson headed to the locker room with less than a minute left in the first half.
Peterson returned in the second half.
