WATCH: Brandon Marshall makes shoestring catch for 35-yard TD
It was the "Brandon Marshall Show" at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Aside from a lost fumble while attempting to get extra yardage, Marshall was nothing short of spectacular against the Washington Redskins.
With six minutes left in the third quarter and the Jets leading 20-13, Marshall made a spectacular shoestring catch down the right sideline, then proceeded to make two Redskins defenders miss as he made his way to the end zone. The score gave the Jets a 27-13 lead and all but iced the game.
It's the fourth consecutive game that Marshall has eclipsed the 100-yard mark, as he's gotten off to a great start with his new team. He's made the Jets look like geniuses for trading just a fifth-round pick to acquire him from the Chicago Bears.
The Jets gave up a 5th-round pick to get Brandon Marshall this offseason. Uh, yeah, it was worth it. #WASvsNYJ http://t.co/pGhNpu9jku
