Watch Matt Ryan embarrassingly fail on this laughable block attempt

Quarterbacks aren't normally asked to make a block, but Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan appeared to make an attempt against the Saints on Monday.

As Devonta Freeman ran toward the sideline to pick up additional yardage, Ryan looked ready to get in the way of 6-4, 308-pound defensive tackle Nick Fairley, who was in pursuit.

As Ryan readied for the blow, he tripped over his own feet and fell to the turf, momentarily impeding Fairley.

It was probably the correct decision in the long run for Ryan.
