It was a rough afternoon for Robert Griffin III in his debut with the Cleveland Browns, so much so that his mother called to check on him during his postgame press conference.
Griffin completed just 12 of his 26 pass attempts for 190 yards and an interception during Cleveland's 29-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and as reporters questioned him at the podium the phone in his pocket began to ring.
Griffin didn't take the call, but he did reveal who was trying to get in touch.
"It's my mother," he said. "She's really worried about me."

That moment provided a little bit of comic relief on an otherwise forgettable Sunday for Griffin and the Browns.
