Watch Von Miller's hilariously bad field goal attempts
Von Miller sat out the Denver Broncos' preseason finale on Thursday night, just as most of the starters across the league did. He was still on the field, though – he just wasn’t rushing the passer.
Instead, he was kicking field goals before the game got underway. The Broncos have a very capable kicker in Brandon McManus, so Miller isn’t exactly coming for his job. That’s especially evident when you see just how poorly his kicks went.

Unless the kick not shown in the video split the uprights, Miller didn’t make a single one – and none of them was even close.
This isn't the first time Miller has attempted a field goal. In training camp, he gave it a shot (and missed).
Of course, it doesn’t hurt to try, but it’s clear he won’t be called upon to make a field goal any time soon. It would have been fun to see him try an extra point in Thursday’s game, though.
