The Houston Texans suddenly have an explosive offense and wide receiver Will Fuller is a huge reason why, he proved it with his first career TD on Sunday

Texans fans should probably get used to this. A team known for their exceptional defense suddenly can match that firepower on offense.

After an early interception killed their opening drive, newly signed quarterback Brock Osweiler was able to get the ball out to some of his new weapons. One of those weapons is rookie first round pick Will Fuller.

The receiver out of Notre Dame made his presence felt with the go-ahead score early in the fourth-quarter. With the Chicago Bears leading the game 14-13, Osweiler hit Fuller on a screen and the rookie showed off his wheels by dodging tackles on his way to an 18-yard touchdown.

That score put Houston up 20-14. They were able to add one more score as kicker Nick Novak hit on a 38-yard field goal to put the game out of reach.

As for the exciting rookie, he made a name for himself with his speed while in college. He posted more than 1,000 yards in each of his last two seasons for the Irish and had 29 touchdown receptions as well during that span.

Texans fans had to be excited to see him get going in his first game for the team. They have struggled for years to field two solid receivers at the same time and may finally have done so with Fuller and the veteran of the bunch, DeAndre Hopkins.

Fuller ended the day with five receptions, for a team leading 107 yards. Hopkins also caught a touchdown pass as he wound up with 54 yards on five catches.

Osweiler has been the target of a lot of criticism, and his early pick let those doubts continue. He was able to gather himself though and tossed 231 yards on 22-of-35 passing.
