There were a lot of games on the AHL's schedule this past week but a few stood out. On Wednesday, Feb. 22, the Stockton Heat (CAL) topped the Texas Stars (DAL) 5-1, the Rochester Americans (BUF) topped the Utica Comets (VAN) 3-2 in OT and the Chicago Wolves (STL) beat out the Cleveland Monsters (CBJ) 4-2.
On Saturday, Feb. 25, the Springfield Thunderbirds (FLA) topped the Hartford Wolf Pack (NYR) 2-0, the Hershey Bears (WSH) topped the Toronto Marlies (TOR) 4-3 and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (PIT) topped the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (PHI) 4-3 in an OT stadium series matchup.
