Alex Tanguay back in line up against Rangers

Alex Tanguay, the 36-year-old forward for the Colorado Avalanche, will suit up and play against the New York Rangers.

Tanguay, who has been out of the lineup since Nov. 6 with a knee injury, missed 11 games while rehabbing.

With Tanguay's insertion into the lineup, forward Andreas Martinsen is expected to be scratched.

The Colorado Avalanche take on the New York Rangers tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET.
