The East Coast has not been kind to the Arizona Coyotes as they lost their fourth straight game against the New York Rangers.
Another night, another bit of misery for the Arizona Coyotes.

Radim Vrbata scored two goals for Arizona but was unable to will them across the finish line.
After hesitating to name Louis Domingue the starting goaltender ahead of time, Dave Tippett relented after conferring with goaltending coach Jon Elkin.
Elkin’s confidence seemed sound throughout the early part of the contest.
Louis held the Rangers in check despite facing multiple high-grade chances.
With the Yotes down 2-1, Max Domi finally got on the scoreboard again when he set up Radim Vrbata for his second goal of the night.
From there it seemed like the Arizona Coyotes might run away with the game, however Domingue once again fell prey to clear shot from the point in conceding the game-winner.
Throughout the contest, the Rangers were pinning the Coyotes in their own end, particularly in the first and second periods.

Despite that, Arizona applied significant pressure in the third period and looked much better than they have in previous losses.
Giving up a game-winner to Dan Girardi is going to sting for a while, though.

None other than Radim Vrbata.
Vrby got off to a slow start on the scoresheet but has been doing well in possession for Arizona since game one.
These past two games he’s found the back of the net which has been a nice change of pace from some of the other vets on the team.

Not huge “we’re turning the corner” progress, but the Coyotes can at least see the turn up ahead.
The fourth line of Ryan White, Laurent Dauphin, and Lawson Crouse were monsters in possession despite White maligned by nearly everyone, including me. This was easily Crouse’s best showing.
Jakob Chychrun continues to be a highlight for fans.
He too had a gaudy Corsi For which is a good sign for such a young defender.
Max Domi and Anthony Duclair continue to work in the offensive end together, but cannot seem to connect the final pass when they have the opportunity. One has to wonder how much longer both will be in this funk.
Last but not least, Christian Dvorak has clearly earned the trust of Tipp.
He led all forwards in ice time for the second time in his short career.
The Yotes face off with the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday. Hopefully there will be a different outcome.
