Avalanche's Landeskog makes light of struggles as Gostisbehere excels
Philadelphia Flyers rookie defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere has opened a lot of eyes during his impressive point streak - including those of Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog.
The Flyers' official Twitter account showed its appreciation of Gostisbehere's run of good fortune 10 days ago, prompting a fan to note that the 22-year-old Floridian plays with the same sticks as Landeskog.

Landeskog, who has been having pronounced scoring troubles, had a bit of fun at his own expense with his response.
@Taavettikeijo @s_ghost14 glad to see they're working for somebody

Gostisbehere will carry his 15-game point streak (five goals, 13 assists) into Tuesday's tilt as the Flyers (26-21-11) visit the Metropolitan Division-rival Carolina Hurricanes (27-23-10).

A third-round pick of the 2012 draft, Gostisbehere has collected 12 goals and 22 assists in just 40 games this season. Gostisbehere leads all rookie defensemen in points - with St. Louis Blues' blue-liner Colton Parayko (26 in 59 games) the closest on the list.
As for Landeskog, well, he's still searching for his first goal since Feb. 2. Give the 23-year-old Swede credit, however - he's got a good attitude about it.
