Blackhawks' Seabrook revels in day with Stanley Cup
Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook spent his day with the Stanley Cup in his hometown of Tsawwassen, British Columbia.
Located on a peninsula in the southwestern corner of the province, Tsawwassen has hosted the cherished chalice on three occasions in the last six years.
Fans lined the local streets for a glimpse of the Stanley Cup this past weekend before taking photographs with the 30-year-old Seabrook, who scored seven goals during the playoffs to break Chris Chelios' team record for tallies by a defenseman in a single postseason.
The Blackhawks captured the Stanley Cup for the third time in six seasons when they bested the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games in June.
