Blackhawks' Stanley Cup rings adorned with 355 diamonds
While the Stanley Cup is always a sight to behold, the jewelry that the members of the Chicago Blackhawks received will catch plenty of eyes as well.
The Blackhawks were presented with their Stanley Cup rings on Sunday, with each having 355 round, pear, marquise and princess-cut diamonds totaling 10.8 carats and set in 14-karat white gold.
The words "Stanley Cup champions" circle the Blackhawks logo on the top of the ring, as they did when the club won the championship in both 2010 and 2013. The team's six Stanley Cup titles are represented on the left side of the ring while the Blackhawks' secondary logo and player's name and number are on the right.
The ring was created by Jostens.
Chicago won its third Stanley Cup in six seasons by besting the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games in June. The Blackhawks begin defense of their title on Wednesday when they open the season against the visiting New York Rangers.
