Blue Jays' impact stretches coast-to-coast as San Jose Sharks celebrate win
The San Jose Sharks have a strong contingent of players on the team with Ontario ties, so it was only natural that the Sharks seem to have spent their off-day watching the decisive ALDS Game 5 between the Blue Jays and Texas Rangers, and the Sharks shared the roller-coaster experience on social media just like every Jays fan.
Emotions were running understandably high for the team.
Canadian pride was also on full display, and even British Columbia native Martin Jones got onboard the Jays' bandwagon.
The Jays will be back in action Friday night in the first game of the ALCS, but the Sharks probably won't be able to watch that one since they also have a game that night against the New Jersey Devils.
Half of the @SanJoseSharks are an emotional mess. Thank you @BlueJays! Thank you
