Bobrovsky: 'I have zero confidence right now'
The Columbus Blue Jackets season has got off to a horrid start.
In fact, Columbus' 0-4-0 record is the worst start in the Blue Jackets' franchise history, according to the Columbus Post Dispatch's Aaron Portzline.
Offensively, the team can't get much going. Defensively, the team can't stop anything. Columbus' -11 goal differential is the worst goal differential in the league.
The most recent 7-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators may be the most deflating loss of them all. And the loss is starting to break players' down.
Sergei Bobrovsky, the 2012-13 Vezina trophy winner, is off to a discouraging start. He's surrendered 18 goals in the last four games. His .830 save percentage ranks 48th in the league. His 5.05 goals against average is 47th in the league. According to NHL.com, only 50 goaltenders have suited up this season.
Bobrovsky may need a game or two off to clear his head, or something has to drastically change for this Blue Jackets team to turn their record around.
