Buffalo Sabres Kyle Okposo Scores First Goal Of Game In Winnipeg [Video]
The Buffalo Sabres big summer acquisition continues to earn his paycheck by scoring first in Winnipeg.
If the Buffalo Sabres are going to win games while Jack Eichel and Evander Kane are out nursing injuries, they will need to get larger-than-life efforts from players such as Ryan O’Reilly and Kyle Okposo.
So far this weekend, that’s exactly what Sabres fans are being treated to by Okposo.
The Sabres’ biggest free agent acquisition in some time scored for the second straight game this afternoon in Winnipeg, putting the visitors on the scoreboard at MTS Centre first thanks to his stick-with-it attitude. Okopso crossed the blueline, had his first shot blocked, and immediately wristed a rocket past Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson.

Hate to sound like a genius, but with the Sabres missing two top-6 forwards, I said in my game day post that Okposo is going to have be a monster if this team wants to have a shot at sniffing the postseason in 2017. So far today, so good!
