Washington Capitals forward Brooks Laich and long-time girlfriend Julianne Hough announced their engagement earlier Tuesday.
The forward netted seven goals last season for the Washington Capitals. His team was eliminated in the second round against the New York Rangers, but Laich ultimately won this year when the love of his life said yes to the big question.

The two have been together for quite some time, and they made sure to let everyone know it with a series of adorable interactions.
