Capitals' Burakovsky high-fives a dolphin in the Bahamas
Washington Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky made a new friend during the NHL All-Star break.
While teammates Braden Holtby, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Nicklas Backstrom competed in the All-Star Game on Sunday in Nashville, Tenn., Burakovsky joined mates Tom Wilson and Michael Latta in a lovely little trip to the Bahamas.
Burakovsky celebrated his new friendship by extending his hand to high-five the flipper of a dolphin. Both man and mammal appear to have smiles on their faces to boot.
Such is life for Burakovsky and the league-leading Capitals (35-8-4), who go back to work on Tuesday when they host the Atlantic Division-best Florida Panthers (29-15-5).
Burakovsky's life on the ice has gone swimmingly of late as well. The 20-year-old has scored three goals in his last two contests and recorded nine points in his last five (three goals, six assists).
