Capitals' Oshie cradles baby during hospital visit (PHOTO)
Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie certainly went the extra mile to recruit a young fan on Tuesday.
With Santa hats in tow, Oshie and the rest of the Capitals visited the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington on Tuesday. The purpose of the Metropolitan Division leaders was to provide a smile to those in attendance, but Oshie found one forming on his face as he held a newborn baby.
While it's uncertain what was said by the U.S. Olympic hero, we'll see if the newborn "Rocks the Red" at a later date.

Oshie was not alone, however, as goaltender Braden Holtby and captain Alex Ovechkin did their part. Holtby showed off his art skills while painting a Christmas ornament while Ovechkin joined a few mates in delivering a special wish.
