Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Red Hot Hawks

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 4:34 p.m. ET

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks are red hot, and tonight they host the Ottawa Senators as they look to pick another win in their recent winning streak.

The Chicago Blackhawks have been without several key players for long stretches this season, and all of these injuries are now looking like a silver lining.

Sure, Artemi Panarin had a super week winning the NHL #1 Star of the Week, and Patrick Kane started scoring again which makes it easier for the Chicago Blackhawks to pick up 2 points on a nightly basis.

But the reason the Chicago Blackhawks are winning so many games especially now is the development of their youth which was supposed to be why they were going to struggle this season.

Both, Ryan Hartman and Vinnie Hinostroza are starting to find their stride and roles in the lineup with both of them scoring against the San Jose Sharks the other night, and Hinostroza on a two game goal scoring streak.

The next young player that seems ready to break out is Tyler Motte who plays the game the right way, but can’t seem to catch a break on the offensive end.  If the Hawks can get Motte going, they will really have all 4 lines humming.

That being said, the Hawks are way more balanced than they were last season, and earlier in the year which is the biggest reason why they are red hot right now.  The Senators are next up for the balanced Blackhawks so we will see if the Hawks can continue their winning ways.
