Chicago Blackhawks Vs Colorado Avalanche TV Listings, Predictions, And More

The Chicago Blackhawks host the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night, and they will be looking for their fourth straight victory. Here are the TV Listings, Predictions, and More from this Central Division Showdown.

The Chicago Blackhawks take to the ice once again tonight, and they will be hard pressed to keep anyone’s attention tonight after last night’s Chicago Cubs World Series Game #7 win.  The Cubs did something they hadn’t done in 108 years, so a Chicago Blackhawks regular season tilt will not be that big of a deal tonight at least.

The great news for the Chicago Blackhawks is that they have kind of found their groove after struggling to find their game in the first month of the season.  They are getting scoring from some places unexpected, both Artem Anisimov and Richard Panik both leading the NHL is goals scored at one point of this young season.

Corey Crawford also had to be pretty good lately having only given up 1 goal in the last two games.  He’s been really solid, and with the Hawks feeling out their roster in the first month of the season they will continue to need to have Crawford at his best on a nightly basis.

Now if the Chicago Blackhawks are going to sustain their winning ways, they have to continue to win the special team games which was as we all know has been a struggle until the last couple of games.  They have put together some very good p.k’s so it shouldn’t be a huge surprise if the Hawks get rolling on special teams.

The other player that I’ve really liked has been Tyler Motte, and he put on a pretty great move to score the third Chicago Blackhawks goal against the Calgary Flames the other night.  Now I want to see if Motte can build on that kind of play.   Here are the listings for tonight’s game from the United Center.

On to the predictions part of the program, and I missed the last game so on to tonight’s predictions.

FInal Score Prediction– This should be a pretty fast paced game, and for some reason I expect quite a few goals so I predict a Hawks 5-3 victory with Patrick Kane getting two goals.

Three Stars Predictions

#3 Star- Matt Duchene– 1 goal 1 assist

#2 Star- Marian Hossa– 1 goal 1 assist

#1 Star- Kaner 2 goals 1 assist

What are your predictions for tonight’s game?
