Corey Perry is prepared for 'boring' game

Published May. 5, 2015 2:32 p.m. ET

If you're thinking about tuning into the Ducks-Flames game tonight, you may want to consider a different option if you aren't a hard-core fan. Go ahead and pop on Netflix. There's probably an episode of "Friends" on. Or you can even go ahead and start that marathon of "Pawn Stars" episodes you DVR'rd.

Why?

Corey Perry does not want to entertain you.

"It's going to be a hostile environment," Perry told LA Times' Helene Elliott about playing in Calgary for Game 3. "It's going to be loud. It's going to be crazy. The fans are going to be nuts. We know what we have to do -- we have to play a boring road game."

So there you have it. The guy who is dominating the playoffs with 13 points in six games doesn't want it to be a good game. He just wants to cash in on a few goals and lull the crowd to sleep.

So if you aren't a Ducks fan, you might want to steer clear of this one if you take Corey Perry's words as gospel.
