Coyotes trade John Scott to Canadiens for Jarred Tinordi

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) The Arizona Coyotes have acquired defenseman Jarred Tinordi from the Montreal Canadiens for tough guy John Scott as part of a series of trades.
The Coyotes traded Scott, voted an NHL All-Star captain, to Montreal along with defenseman Victor Bartley, whom they got from the Nashville Predators in exchange for defenseman Stefan Elliott.
Arizona also got minor league forward Stefan Fournier from the Canadiens.

Tinordi, 23, only appeared in three games for Montreal this season.
Scott appeared in just 11 games and registered one assist.
