Dallas Stars Links: August Coming To A Happy End

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The month of August is over, and we here at Blackout Dallas are pretty excited about it. Dallas Stars hockey is on the way.

August 31st. Today is otherwise known as the final day of the only month in the entire year without hockey. That’s quite a mouthful, but it’s worth every syllable.

That’s because today is the final day of August, and then things will ramp up. Sadly, they won’t start up tomorrow. It won’t be until September 17th that you see professional hockey when the World Cup commences and you finally see Dallas Stars players flying across the frozen floor.
