Diamondbacks' Collmenter makes best pitch with Coyotes
The Arizona Coyotes are nursing several injuries to their roster, so many in fact that they called on a reliever to attend practice on Tuesday.
Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Josh Collmenter laced up the skates with the Coyotes, one day after attending the team's 6-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

Collmenter asked the NHL club if he could attend practice and the team did him one better, allowing the pitcher to skate with some of the players before taking his best shot in a drill.

The 30-year-old Collmenter also had a few moments to pick the brain of captain Shane Doan, who recently made his best pitch by passing Dale Hawerchuk for the franchise's points record.

For now, Collmenter's best pitch will remain on the diamond as he attempts to improve upon last season's 4-6 mark with the Diamondbacks.
