Elderly woman tosses bra on ice to celebrate hat trick at Flyers game

When a player scores a hat trick, it's customary to toss a hat onto the ice in celebration. But Philadelphia fans are a lively bunch, and that can sometimes lead to some interesting celebrations. It was therefore another unique moment in the Philly fandom when, after Brayden Schenn recorded a hat trick for the Flyers in Monday night's 5-3 win over the Calgary Flames, an elderly woman was caught on camera tossing a bra onto the ice in celebration.

This obviously generates a lot of questions. Did she bring an extra bra to the game just in case? Does Schenn know about this? Why did she decide to throw a bra in the first place? There is even a man on Twitter claiming he is the person who helped her toss the bra.

Regardless of what exactly went down and why, this is yet another example of how passionate the Philadelphia fanbase can be, and that passion is sure to give the team a boost as it fights for a playoff sport in the final weeks of the 2015-16 season. The Flyers are currently 29-22-11 and sit three points behind the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Wild Card race.
