Evander Holyfield praises Evander Kane's fighting skills
Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane was named after world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield approximately 24 1/2 years ago.
On Wednesday, Holyfield took to social media to praise Kane's fighting skills after the latter engaged in three separate bouts with Florida Panthers defenseman Alex Petrovic.

Kane unofficially kept score and deemed himself the winner of each "round", although it was a view shared by many.

The 6-foot-2, 204-pound Kane was ejected from Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Panthers, but he could find himself dropping the gloves when he visits the hometown of "Rocky" on Thursday.
Kane and the Sabres (21-27-6) will face off with the feisty Philadelphia Flyers (23-20-9) as the struggling teams look to snap their respective three-game losing skids.
