Every NHL first round series summed up in one tweet
Are you watching the NHL playoffs yet? Seven teams (and one more to come tonight) have now joined all the Canada-based franchises as they dust off their golf bags and shave their playoff beards.
If you want more details on how we got here, check out our NHL page here. If not, each of these tweets sum up the results of each series pretty succinctly.
Western Conference:
Los Angeles Kings vs. San Jose Sharks (SJ won 4-1)
For those asking, our playoff allegiance is now with @JustinWilliams and the Caps. pic.twitter.com/2W3u01S4UB

Dallas Stars vs. Minnesota Wild (DAL won 4-2)
Chicago Blackhawks vs. St. Louis Blues (STL won 4-3)
Mom: Chicago lost!

Me: Yeah I know. It's a bummer.
Mom: wow ok you're grounded pic.twitter.com/6HQF1kPw98
Anaheim Ducks vs. Nashville Predators *(Tied 3-3)
*SIDE NOTE: The Ducks and the Predators STILL have Game 7 to play tonight before they finish the series. But since I'm impatient and I'm recapping the first round anyway, here's what one Ducks fan has predicted:
Eastern Conference:
Washington Capitals vs. Philadelphia Flyers (WAS won 4-2)
New York Islanders vs. Florida Panthers (NYI won 4-2)
Detroit Red Wings vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (TB won 4-1)
New York Rangers vs. Pittsburgh Penguins (PIT won 4-1)
This is probably why the Rangers lost. pic.twitter.com/pm84RDcXSE
