The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired forward Rob Bordson and defenseman Danny Syvret from the Anaheim Ducks for forwards Patrick Maroon and David Laliberte.

The Flyers announced the deal Sunday, saying that Bordson and Syvret will report to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms.

Syvret returns to the Flyers organization, where he played for the past two seasons. He signed as a free agent with Anaheim in the offseason and has appeared in six games for the Ducks this year with two points.

He played in 21 games for the Flyers last season, scoring two goals with four points.
