For Wild's Dumba, love of tattoos and family on display

Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba's love for his family is easy to see.

Don't believe us? Well, just ask him to take off his shirt.

Dumba has 15 tattoos adorning his 6-foot, 189-pound body, with each bit of ink detailing a story that honors his family members. Case in point, the 21-year-old proudly brandishes an eagle on his chest with the family banner in its grasp.

"Whatever heights that I fly to, wherever I go, they’re always in my heart and (I'm) always taking them with me," Dumba told the team's website. "Hopefully the sky's the limit."

That last sentiment seems to be appropriate for the hockey career of Dumba, who scored a power-play goal in his postseason debut to highlight Minnesota's 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues in Game 1 of the first-round series in April. He collected two goals and two assists during the Wild's playoff run as they advanced to the second round before getting swept by the eventual Stanley Cup-champion Chicago Blackhawks.

The seventh overall pick of the 2012 draft, Dumba recorded eight goals and as many assists in 58 games last season.
