Former Devils enforcer Janssen to play in England
Former New Jersey Devils enforcer Cam Janssen signed a contract with the Panthers ... that is, the Nottingham Panthers of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed for Janssen, who will join former NHLers Brad Moran and defenseman Theo Peckham in England.
Janssen collected two points and 81 penalty minutes for Albany of the American Hockey League last season. The 31-year-old scored three goals in 24 contests with New Jersey in 2013-14.
A fourth-round pick of the 2002 draft, Janssen has recorded six goals, eight assists and 774 penalty minutes in 336 career games with the St. Louis Blues and Devils.
