Members of the Carolina Hurricanes enjoyed a fine dining experience with some of their fans recently.

Goaltender Cam Ward and forward Nathan Gerbe broke bread with Casino Night auction winner Mark Rein and his family . The venue for the meal? Well, the Hurricanes' locker room, naturally.

The prize was part of the "Skates and Plates" package in which the winner had a private skate with the players on PNC Arena ice before sitting down to dinner as well. Each guest had personalized name plates in the locker room stalls in addition to one on the table.

Eddie Lack traveled the fast-food route as the goaltender ventured to Gonza Tacos y Tequila and dined with winners of a WRAL Out and About contest. The 28-year-old Swede is no stranger to the restaurant as he filmed a commercial for the establishment recently.

Lack wears his love of tacos on his sleeve, or more appropriately on his arm with a tattoo of his favorite fast-food grub.

The Hurricanes (20-19-8) were eating up the competition during their four-game winning streak before dropping two in a row - with the latest setback being a 5-0 loss to the Metropolitan Division-rival Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.
