The Anaheim Ducks announced that 24-year-old forward Jakob Silfverberg has been cleared to practice.

Silfverberg had been briefly injured after San Jose Sharks' forward Raffi Torres cut across the ice and hit Silfverberg up high.

Torres, who has a history of questionable hits, was suspended 41 games following the incident. As a result of the suspension, Torres must forfeit $440,860.29 in salary. The forfeited money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
