Maple Leafs prospect Nikita Korostelev scores incredible OHL goal
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been stockpiling a ridiculous amount of talented prospects over the past few seasons, each with an equally ridiculous set of highlight reel goals to his name.
Now, you can add one more.
On Friday night, Nikita Korostelev, a winger with the OHL’s Sarnia Sting, officially made his submission to the Leafs prospect archives, scoring this beauty against the Kitchener Rangers.

It was Korostelev’s second goal and third point of the game in an eventual 6- 5 win for the Sting, enough to make him the third star of the contest.
The 185th pick in the 2015 draft, Korostelev’s Elite Prospects scouting report describes him as “a deft skater that plays a skill-based, puck-possession game. Very creative with the puck: can let loose an accurate bullet, utilize his stickhandling ability to create chances, or make a seeing-eye pass to an open teammate.”
