May the puck be with you: NHL teams get into the Star Wars spirit
The highly-anticipated "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hit theaters late Thursday night, and although many NHL players could not go to the first screening of the movie (darn those day jobs), it did not stop teams from across the league from getting into the Star Wars spirit. The Boston Bruins, Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks and Washington Capitals were among those who celebrated the premiere of the movie with their own intergalactic festivities.
The Wild had one of the most epic tributes, creating a Star Wars-themed video to use ahead of player introductions as the team prepared to take on the Rangers from the "Empire State" who had a strong Sith goaltender called "Darth Lundqvist." Check it out:
Both the Sharks and Toronto Maple Leafs channeled Star Wars all night on Twitter, though the Sharks had the Force on their side as they won in overtime, 5-4. San Jose also seized the opportunity to use a great caption for a video of the game-winning goal:

The Bruins, meanwhile, went a little more in depth with Adam “Darth Quaider” McQuaid:

The best part about these Star Wars tributes is that they were all different. Which team do you think honored the premiere of "The Force Awakens" the best?
