Nashville Predators Faithful Throw One of the Biggest Parties in Recent Sports Memory.

When the Nashville Predators advanced to the Cup Final for the very first time in franchise history it's no surprise the city of Nashville would be going nuts, and they managed to step it up a few notches after their game three wins against the Pittsburgh Penguins at home.

When people started throwing Cat Fish on the ice during the games I thought to myself "poor fish he didn't hurt anyone, but I wonder what's gonna happen when they win" well I found out really fast. Every single bar within a stone throw from the venue was packed, the streets were packed and even some fans were smashing things with the Pittsburgh logo on it, the best part is this all started at 9:30 in the morning, I guess happy hour has changed thanks to the city of Nashville.

Roughly 50,000 screaming fans cheered outside for the game and for the free concert with another 18,000 in the venue. But back to the festivities, one of the attractions featured a beat up old car, literally and figuratively painted in Penguins colors with the logo on the sides, on the roof were people smashing it even more with a sludge hammer, I guess that's why they call it Smashville?

Some reporters and citizens of Nashville say if the Preds win the Cup they will throw a party the size of Mardi Gras for a week straight, after all, they did throw a massive party when the Titans lost in the SuperBowl. I don't think Leafs Square has anything on Smashville, and that's actually pretty amazing, surprising, crazy, and scary all at the same time.
