There were nine games on the NHL's schedule for Tuesday night. First, the Blue Jackets shut out the Devils 2-0, the Maple Leafs topped the Red Wings 3-2 and the Rangers topped the Panthers 5-2.
The Flyers beat the Sabres 6-3, the Blues topped the Wild 2-1 and the Islanders beat the Oilers 4-1. Lastly, the Avalanche beat the Hurricanes 3-1, the Canadiens topped the Canucks 2-1 OT and the Ducks beat out the Predators 4-3 in a shootout.
