Boston and Minnesota Kicking Tires over Potential Deal
For quite awhile now the Wild and Bruins have been going back and forth on a possible deal. The deal in question is center Ryan Spooner for defenseman Jonas Brodin. Boston needs a defenseman and Minnesota needs more center depth. So it's likely this deal may happen but the question that remains is when? (Puck Prose)

Tampa Bay Released Pre-Season Schedule
Even though we have yet to hit the expansion draft of the entry draft for that matter the Lightning has still released their pre-season schedule. They will be playing games on Sept 19th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 28th, and 30th, they start off against Carolina for a back to back, then they will play the Predators and Blackhawks followed by the Panthers and the Preds once more. The Blackhawks Released Their Pre-Season Schedule As Well
The Lightning isn't the only team that has released their pre-season schedule, the Hawks have as well. They will open the pre-season against Columbus then Detroit and back against Columbus again before playing the Bruins then Red Wings and finally the Bruins again. (Blackhawk Up)
Blue Jackets Make Three Signings
The Blue Jackets made three signings on Friday, first was backup goaltender Joonas Korpisalo followed by two AHL deals. Defenseman Dean Kukan and forward Zac Dalpe received two-way contracts with the Jackets. (Union And Blue)
Islanders Made Depth Signing with Bernier
On Friday the Devils announced the signing of forward Steve Bernier to a two-year two-way contract. Bernier played 33 games with Bridgeport last season putting up 26 points. He's expected to start in the AHL once again this upcoming season but if the Isles need him, he does have that two-way deal. (Puck Prose)
Flyers Extend Gostisbehere
Shayne Gostisbehere has been a massive force for the Flyers for the last two seasons and in doing so earned himself a nice new deal. He was awarded a new six-year extension worth $27 million which works out to $4,500,000 per season. (Fansided)
