NHL Fantasy Waiver Wire: Add/Drop List for Week 10
NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire: Letting You Know Which Players You Should Add/Drop Heading Into Week 10, Complete Injury Update, Players of the Week, and More!
Welcome back to our weekly NHL Fantasy Hockey waiver wire, there are some new players to add to your pool for all three formats. There is also some new injuries listed, as well as players on cold streaks, so everything you need to know is right here.
Like always, we’re here to help you gain the most out of your hockey pool. Most NHL fantasy pools consist of a weekly total before being reset. So, it’s best to maximize your scoring during that week to either stay in the lead or try to climb the standings. The toughest part is always releasing players, but if you’re in a pool that isn’t very active, you can take those chances.
If you’re in a pool that everyone is involved in daily, at least keep your star players even if they’re going through a cold streak, so they’re not picked up when you release them.

Top Forward of the Week: LW Artemi Panarin (CHI) – (3GP, 3G, 3A, 6PTS)
More from Puck Prose
Artemi Panarin had a very solid week after returning from injury. So if you were able to scoop him up just before he came back, good for you, since he’ll be trending up for the rest of the season. However, if you gave him up because he got hurt, you need to find a way to get him back, just make sure it’s not a lot to do so. If you’re unable to get him, there are still some adequate scorers in free agency. And while they won’t put up the numbers he will offensively, find someone who will get close but also put up good numbers defensively to close that gap.
Top Defenseman of the Week: D Justin Schultz (PIT) – (3GP, 2G, 2A, 4PTS)
Justin Schultz isn’t considered a top NHL fantasy defenseman and not a lot of people usually go after him. So he’s more than likely available in your pool – go out and pick him up. He had a solid past week and continues to climb now that he’s comfortable with Pittsburgh’s playing style. Because Schultz is an offensive defenseman and Pittsburgh is an offense first team, so he’s going to have a breakout season this year.
Top Goalie of the Week: G Devan Dubnyk (MIN) – 3GP, 3W, .955SV%, 1.33GAA)
Devan Dubnyk is much like Artemi Panarin, just from a goalie standpoint. He’s going to be hard to acquire, but if you wish to do so, try your best to make the deal as even as possible so you’re not giving up too much to get him. If you have numerous star goalies on your team and can afford to get rid of him. Make sure it’s worthy and you know your other goaltenders will come out ahead by the end of the season, this way you didn’t lose your best goaltender. So if the deal seems worth it and you have the backup, take it since he can bring in a good scorer, but if the deal isn’t worth it or you don’t have anything to back up his numbers, keep him.
