Nick Mangold, New York Jets taunt Dallas Stars at New York Rangers game
New York Jets center Nick Mangold has endured his share of taunting from opposing fans over his many years playing football, but on Tuesday, Mangold and some of his teammates had a chance to experience the other side of fan-driven jeering. Mangold, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and a handful of teammates had seats just behind the Dallas bench, and they let Dallas players hear it during the hockey game.

Nick Mangold going absolutely HAM is one of my favorite things thus far in 2016. #NYR https://t.co/9FGncOwWka pic.twitter.com/oIem9ioqJP

The Rangers coasted to a 6-2 win over the Stars on Tuesday, but the Jets were not as lucky in their season finale on Sunday. They lost to the Bills, 22-17, and therefore missed the playoffs. The Jets would have needed to win or they would have needed the Pittsburgh Steelers to lose to the Cleveland Browns in order to make the playoffs.
It seems there is nothing like a hockey game to get over football woes.
