Panthers present mysterious Kevin Spacey sweatshirt to game MVP (PHOTO)
Some NHL teams hand out colorful hats or championship belts to the most valuable player of the game.
The Florida Panthers, however, are a different sort as they presented forward Aleksander Barkov a blue sweatshirt with actor Kevin Spacey's picture depicted on the chest. Now, if there's a hidden meaning, well, the 20-year-old Finn didn't have a clue.

"Honestly, I have no idea what it means."
Whether Barkov is in on the joke isn't important, since he couldn't have been happier to wear his "trophy" after collecting two goals and an assist in Atlantic Division-leading Florida's 3-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday. The red-hot Panthers have won seven in a row and 13 of their last 16.
Very secretive. When I told Erik Gudbranson I would figure it out, he said "no you won't." So it's #SpaceyInSpace https://t.co/Lk0X8CR5VY

The second overall pick of the 2013 draft, Barkov has recorded consecutive two-goal performances and has five tallies and as many assists in his last seven contests. Barkov's 11 goals have him tied with future Hall of Famer Jaromir Jagr and Reilly Smith for the team lead.
