Penguins' Daley holds no ill will toward Blackhawks

Pittsburgh Penguins veteran Trevor Daley and fellow defenseman Rob Scuderi of the Chicago Blackhawks will see several familiar faces on Tuesday when they face their respective former teams.

The offensive-minded Daley failed to find a proper fit with the Blackhawks, mustering just six assists in 29 games before being shuffled to Pittsburgh in the Dec. 14 deal. Despite lamenting his lack of playing time one day later, Daley had nothing but positive things to say about his former team on Tuesday prior to the contest.

"I wish I had bad things to say about that team, but I don't. The guys were unbelievable. I enjoyed my time there and I learned a lot. ... I think I took a lot out of it, for the short time I was there."

Daley returned to his offensive ways in short order with Pittsburgh, scoring one goal and setting up two others in his first four games. The 32-year-old Toronto native has been held off the scoresheet in each of the last five contests, however.

The 37-year-old Scuderi, who notched four assists in 25 games with the Penguins, has yet to record a point in seven contests with the Blackhawks.
