NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have signed forward Rem Pitlick to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Pitlick, who is 5-foot-9 and 196 pounds, just finished his junior season at the University of Minnesota. The 21-year-old collected 21 goals and 24 assists for the Golden Gophers to earn first-team all-Big Ten honors.

The Predators selected Pitlick in the third round of the 2016 draft. He spent two seasons with Waterloo and Muskegon of the United States Hockey League before enrolling at Minnesota.

Pitlick's father, Lance, played for the Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers from 1994-2002. Pitlin's cousin Tyler Pitlick plays for the Dallas Stars.
